How do bookings work?

Whatever you are planning, HIRE-A-DANCER.COM can cater for all occasions. We have created acts and shows for festivals, music gigs, concerts, music videos and album launches. We hire dancers for performances at graduation balls, corporate events, product launches, Livery dinners, Bar Mitzvahs and cultural events. We have entertained at birthdays, weddings, anniversary parties, Christmas and New Year parties, hen parties, and children’s parties.

On our website HIRE-A-DANCER.COM we have a range of dance style and genre suggestions, including Classical Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz and Tap dancers, Jive, Highland Fling, Can-Can and Charleston, to name a few. We also have suggestions of character acts to help you consider the possibilities of dance entertainment and how a dance character could enhance the theme of your event or function. If you have a theme, style or brief in mind, we will work with you to bring your ideas to life.

What do I get from an act?

In terms of event performance structure, we offer several options depending on the flow of an event and the level of audience interaction. All of our dance acts perform choreographed staged dances, which can be designed to either command the entire attention of the guests, or to go on in the background of conversation. Stage performances usually last between 5-15 minutes but may be repeated during a function. Our dancers can also do walkabout or mix and mingle sets which gets them at floor level, encourages more interaction with guests and provides photo opportunities. These sets typically last 30-45 minutes and may be spread through a day. Finally, our dancers can also lead workshop sessions to get guests involved and having a go for fun of a certain style. A workshop session may last between 15-30 minutes depending on the event.
